Steps involved in the manufacturing of Cat 5e 

In networking world cat 5e cables are being used in a large quantity. This is the reason why it becomes a necessity to know in detail how these cat 5e cables are manufactured.  Cat 5e is a cabling standard of generation 5 and ‘e’ in the name denotes Ethernet. Here we will be discussing in brief the steps involved in making a cat 5e cable.
Stripping- For starting with the procedure you need to have a network cable. As the name suggests, you need to strip off the outer jacket of the cable. Be very careful while removing it so that inner wires do not get damaged. When you are done with this you will see 4 twisted pairs of copper wires.
Inspecting- In this phase you should check that all the wires present do not have any kind of cuts. If this is so you should start with another piece of copper wire. If the wires are fine you can jump to the next step.
Preparation-To make your task easy open the twisted pairs into single wires so that they can be handled and operated easily.
Layout- Once you are over with preparation phase you need to arrange the wires depending on the specifications for a given model. The two different methods which can be used are 568 A and 568 B.
Rest of the steps is different for different types of cat 5e cables. These four steps are common for making different types of cat 5e cables.
