Bluetooth Technology
Bluetooth Technology came into existence as an alliance established between the mobile communications and the mobile computing companies in order to develop a short range communications standard. Bluetooth technology enables wireless data communication between various mobile computing terminals that are within the perimeter of 10 meter. This kind of communication does not require line of sight between the terminals.
The technology also enables exchange of data even when the source and the destination terminals are on the move. They allow transfer of any kind of data like images, music files and video files. The Bluetooth Technology provides data transfer rate up to 1 Mbps. At present, cell phones that come into the market with Bluetooth technology are sold out at a faster pace than others. Bluetooth enables not only data transfer between cell phones, but also with the computer system. For this data transfer purpose, Bluetooth Technology came out new device called Bluetooth Dongle.
This Bluetooth Dongle enables faster data transfer and also enables the access of computer systems through the cell phones. The Bluetooth Headsets came out to the market, which allows the mobile users to talk or hear music without having their mobiles attached to their ears. Such Bluetooth Headsets are most commonly used in smart phones and cell phones. Some of the Bluetooth functionalities involved in cell phones are synchronization of contacts, call logs, calendars, notes, appointments, alarms, messages and transfer of data like pictures, music files and video files. The Future of Bluetooth Technology is yet to be perished with outrageous performances.
