The process of ink refill
Printer ink is one of the most expensive affairs, which you may face with your digital gadgets, but you can avoid the expenses if you go for ink refill. The process is very easy and you just need to follow some simple steps.
First, purchase an ink refill kit and also make sure you have a roll of paper towels, some clear scotch tape, and a table or desk. Then remove the empty cartridge from your printer. Now cover your hands with plastic gloves and take a paper towel to fold it in half twice. Keep the empty cartridge on it. Before moving further, read the manual, given with the refill kit. Then locate the fill holes on the top of the cartridge. You can use a sharp pencil to pierce the refill holes. You have to do the piercing process, based on the instruction manual only.
Then insert a long needle on the refill ink bottle into the correct hole and add ink. It should not be over-filled. Now slowly release the air, before you remove the needle.
Carefully spread the cartridge contacts on the paper towel and you should see a splotch of the ink leaking out on the paper towel. Then cover the hole with a small piece of clear scotch tape.
After refilling, carefully blot the cartridge print head on the folded piece of paper towel. And after that, replace the ink cartridge into the printer. Now your printer is ready to print anything with its new ink refill.
